Closing Out Celebrate the Arts Month in Naples
As family and friends gather to celebrate Thanksgiving 2022, November is drawing to a close. People are taking a break, giving thanks for all the good things in their lives as autumn days give way to winter and the holiday season ahead. Thanksgiving weekend is the last of Celebrate the Arts Month, but it still is jam-packed with art events and experiences.
In Naples, closing out Celebrate the Arts Month in style is easy. Naples is a first-class tourist destination, known more and more as a sophisticated arts destination. Naples is in Collier County; this southwest Florida county is home to numerous artist studios and art galleries. If you want to experience the artistic side of Naples over Thanksgiving weekend, consider a visit to one of the many art centers in the community.
There are art experiences for everyone in the Naples area. You might want to visit the family-friendly Hand and Harvest Artisan Market hosted by Mercato. But if you are in the mood for more viewing than shopping, consider a stop at The Baker Museum to check out the exhibits there. Or spend a day celebrating Hispanic arts and culture by taking in some of the art displayed at one of the ¡ARTEVIVA! Festival locations. And, of course, something every visitor must do while in the area is to take some time to explore the Naples Art District, a 501(c)(3) non-profit art organization that has developed into an amazing source for fine art and art education.
