Visit Farmers’ Markets Near the Naples Art District

Farmers Market Naples FL

The Naples Art District has developed into a popular arts destination of the Florida arts scene over the last few years. It offers visitors from the local area and around the world the opportunity to encounter the world of fine arts amongst professional artists with studios and galleries based there. It is a great place to enjoy learning about the fine arts and purchasing original masterpieces directly from the artists. And with farmers’ markets nearby, a visit to the Naples Art District is a great place to spend time on a leisurely weekend.

Farmers’ markets in Naples are some of the best places to buy local produce and specialty foods, flowers, crafts, and more. When you visit the Naples Art District, you can round out your day with a stop at a local market. There are at least two well-reputed spots in the area: Vanderbilt Farmers’ Market and Pine Ridge Market.

Vanderbilt Farmers’ Market is the longest-running market in the North Naples area. Located in the Galleria Shoppes at Vanderbilt, the Vanderbilt Market is open year-round and offers visitors a diverse assemblage of vendors who sell everything from fresh, locally-grown produce, flowers, local honey, specialty foods, unique jewelry, original artisan crafts, and more. This popular market draws people from near and far; and during the height of tourist season in Naples, it features over 90 different vendors. On Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, the Vanderbilt Farmers’ Market is open for you to enjoy.

The Pine Ridge Market in Naples is another top spot for visitors in search of products from artisans, farmers, bakers, and artists from the local community. Though the Pine Ridge Road Farmers’ Market is smaller than others in the area, a wide variety of organic produce, plants, gourmet foods, apparel, hand-made goods, and fair-trade products are on offer; there is something for everyone!  Shop at this market, located at the corner of Pine Ridge Rd. and Livingston Rd. in Naples, on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Pine Ridge Road Farmers’ Market is open most years from October through August.
