About The Artist

My work comes from a subconscious blend of lived experience and imagination, translated into the magical language of painting. I love texture and placing one carefully blended color next to another. Mood and meaning emerge as colors connecting to form shape. Lines imbued with energy become movement, creating emphasis and direction. The canvasses are filled with as many as 15 layers of acrylic, collage, and bursts of color flowing from the tube. My working method welcomes spontaneity and chance — ​led by a curious mind and an open heart.

A full life lived around the country informs my perspective. I now live and work in Naples, Florida.
