About The Artist

My name is Peter DeFresco. Originally from New York, I have been a Naples, Florida resident for the past 11 years. As a visual artist, playwright, actor, and filmmaker, my goal is to bring diverse, multidisciplinary art forms to the Naples Art District as a new member of the Trillium Gallery & Studios. My current work explores repurposed CDs and DVDs in unique mixed-media presentations. Looking ahead, I plan to screen a documentary about my CD art at Trillium Gallery, along with showing past short films I have written and starred in that were previously featured in Southwest Florida film festivals. Beyond the studio, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Center for Multiple Sclerosis of SWFL, where I aim to collaborate with fellow gallery artists to host impactful events.
