Artist Marina Lounis At NAPLES FRAME UP & ART POINT GALLERY 5850 Shirley Street #104

About The Artist

My art style is inspired by Van Gogh, whose brushstrokes, when combined, create a stunning and harmonious visual ensemble that deeply resonates with me.

After a decade of exploring different subjects and techniques— seascapes and boats in acrylic on canvas, classic and abstract people portraits in oil, colorful Florida birds in watercolor on paper, and mixed media palm trees on canvas —I’ve found my true passion in working with impasto oil techniques. For the last three years, I’ve mostly focused on capturing the beauty of Florida sunsets, interpreting them through an abstract style. I love the play of bright, vibrant colors—rich oranges, deep yellows, and radiant reds from Naples sunsets—contrasted with the cool blues and greens of the ocean.

In my beginners art class, I teach my current favorite impasto technique, which my followers appreciate for the simplicity. Impasto brush and palette knife strokes create a rich texture and captivating depth in the paintings. Each brushstroke is visible, inviting viewers to engage not only visually but also through the tactile experience of touching the artwork.

For the past three years, I’ve been honored to be recognized as Artist of the Month, showcasing my work at the Collier County Government Center. The featured collections included “Naples Boats,” “Florida Palm Tree Portraits,” and “Naples Beaches Sunsets.”

A selection of my 2022 artwork collection is honored to decorate the hallways across three floors of the beautiful Bayfront Plaza office building at 1333 3rd Avenue South, Naples, FL, where the management of Bayfront Realty actively supports local artists.

One of the most wonderful aspects of an artist’s work is reading from my customers about how much joy my Florida paintings bring to their homes. Their appreciation reminds me why I love creating art, and knowing my work brings happiness to others is incredibly rewarding.
After selling over 700 artworks all over the United States and with a Master’s degree in marketing, I am ready to share everything I’ve learned with artists who want to start selling their art online.

However, to develop my skills, I always continue the art education, particularly during my summer in France, which provides some fresh inspiration for my work and for the growing community of art followers. In Michigan and Florida I am giving charity art classes for beginners, for kids and adults, with a special focus on seniors who are looking to add more creativity and fun into their lives. I believe that providing art lessons to newcomers to art is very important, as it opens all people a chance to explore their new inspiring part of life.
