About The Artist

Kimberly Voigt is an accomplished artist and educator with a background in Studio Jewelry and Object Design. She grew up in Haverford, PA just outside of Philadelphia and learned to be a creative through her mother’s artistic guidance and love. She received her BFA in Jewelry & Sculpture from the University of Alaska Fairbanks where she discovered her passion for wearable art, technology, performance and geology. She then furthered her education with a MFA in Metals / Jewelry / CAD-CAM-RP at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, where she fully immersed herself in the world of digital design and fabrication.

As a dedicated college professor for twenty-three years, Voigt’s work is deeply rooted in a commitment to technical excellence and artistic expression. Her work resonates with exquisite craftsmanship, evocative storytelling, and a deep understanding of the human experience. Each of her creations is a unique fusion of traditional and contemporary elements, showcasing her keen eye for detail and her unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of her vision and her medium.

She has just recently relocated to Naples, Florida and is refocusing the direction of her studio practice. Her studio serves as a bridge between the raw elegance of nature and the intricate precision of technology. Her jewelry is an exploration of the myriad ways in which these two realms intersect, diverge, and ultimately harmonize. Drawing from both avant-garde influences and the rich traditions of jewelry craftsmanship, she strives to create pieces that are simultaneously bold and dynamic, yet sensitive and spiritually resonant.

Voigt’s creations are a testament to the emotional connections that bind us to the world around us. By employing traditional and non-traditional materials, she seeks to capture the diversity and complexity inherent in our human experiences. Her designs are characterized by a minimalistic aesthetic that belies the intricate system dynamics at play. Through creative curiosity, a commitment to technical precision and a collaborative spirit she aspires to evoke a sense of connection with all that encounter her work. In an era where the boundaries between the natural and the technological are increasingly blurred, her jewelry serves as a reflection of an ever evolving landscape.

She encourages you to come and visit her studio. She would love to converse about jewelry as an evocative object that has the potential to embody our views on art, life, love and the universality of our shared human experience.
