About The Artist

After attending art classes as a young person at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Josie Gearhart was interested in furthering her art education by attending art school. And she got into a very good one, graduating from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and Rome with a BFA and an MFA in lithography.

She’s learned that the more time that you spend loving what you’re doing and making your life choices work for you, the more you can appreciate your life.
Josie loves to draw and loves to paint. She wants the world to see her artwork. She enters local, national and international shows so that her work can be judged. She feels thankful when she’s juried into a show and blessed when she earns an award.

Art is so very personal. Josie wants her work to open the viewers eyes to the beauty of the world and to touch their soul.
