About The Artist

Whether abstracts or loose landscapes, my work is created by applying layers of paint – some thick – some scratchy – some drippy. A little of each layer remains, revealing the process and creating depth. Line, contrast and color all bring something to the party. The best results come from feeling free and playful enough to experiment with abandon, then I need to evaluate and tweak by applying the basic principles of good art.
