About The Artist

Im a New England based artist, living with my family in the coastal North Shore of Boston, with time also spent in Naples, Florida. I paint in both oils and acrylics, and belong to regional art associations, ie Newburyport Art Association. I’ve studied with nationally recognized artists and local art groups, at both domestic and international workshops.

The ocean can be serene and it can be wild. Its colors, atmosphere, and mood are inspiration for my seascape paintings. Living in a harborside town allows me to walk the beach and observe the ever-changing ocean.

Traveling provides inspiration for its slices of everyday life in different cultures, and is another theme of my work. I especially take and translate impressions from my visits in France. And beautiful flowers are everywhere.

Animals have emotions, and I love to capture their essence in a painting. I am a pet portraitist, and also have painted from safari photos.

I hope my paintings bring joy.
