The Baker Museum is one of many treasured locations that suffered damage from Hurricane Irma, which hit Naples in September 2017. The museum closed at that time to repair the significant water damage to the building, finally reopening in December 2019. During this time, an expansion was also planned; the additional square footage was opened in the fall of 2020, with additional space for permanent collection installations, as well as new spaces for community arts education and other events.
The Baker Museum’s open hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, and Sunday from noon to 4 pm; the museum is closed on Mondays and holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. If you are planning to visit the Baker Museum, tickets for admission are available. Tickets for adults cost $10 each, though tickets for full-time students (with student ID) and active duty military (with military ID) cost $5 each; Children aged 17 and under can enter the museum for free.
