The Naples Art District Presents the 2022 ART AND DESIGN EXPO
The Naples Art District is a vibrant community of professional fine artists working in mediums from painting to sculpture, jewelry making to fabric arts, and more. Nestled into a business neighborhood built up around design trades, member artists of the Naples Art District glean inspiration from the talented craftspeople who create and produce interior design products–from draperies and upholstery to countertops and cabinetry and everything in between needed by interior designers for design and decor projects. The District has launched into 2022 and is already buzzing with activity: the Naples Art District presents the 2022 ART AND DESIGN EXPO this January.
The 2022 ART AND DESIGN EXPO will be showcasing the accomplished member artists of the Naples Art District during this community event. During this collaborative presentation by the innovative and compelling artisans in the neighborhood, the artists, interior designers, and other creative tradespeople who contribute to the dynamic vision of the District will be opening their working studios, galleries, and showrooms to the public. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the fine arts and design trades who will describe and demonstrate how each industry informs the other. Visitors will meet Naples Art District member artists who will display their work and share the inspiration behind it, and design professionals who will present their unique visions inspired by the original artwork created by their fine artist friends; the designers will speak about how the colors, textures, style, and mood of different artwork inspires design selections.
The 2022 ART AND DESIGN EXPO begins on Thursday, January 27, 2022 and runs through Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the Naples Art District. On Thursday, studios and showrooms will be open from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, while the EXPO hours on Friday and Saturday are from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm during which special hour-long workshops will be presented. The workshops each will feature an individual artist paired with an interior designer. Online pre-registration for the event is requested. The Naples Art District, a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization, is home to a unique alliance of over 80 professional fine artists with studios and art galleries throughout the District. The largest concentration of working artists in Southwest Florida maintain their creative workspaces in the Naples Art District, which gives these professional creatives a place to share their talents. The member artists of the District work in a wide range of artistic fields and use a variety of mediums and methods.
