Art Alive! A Special Fine Arts Experience

The state of Florida is known far and wide for its sunshiny beaches, beautiful flora and fauna, and multiple cultural attractions. It is also becoming more and more well-known for a dynamic fine arts scene. The Naples Art District is a nexus of fine arts in Florida. Since becoming a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 2016, the District has grown into a network of over 80 professional creatives who specialize in painting, ceramics and sculpture, photography, fiber arts, glass arts, and more. The District is known for its commitment to the fine arts in southwest Florida; the mission of the organization is to promote the arts by providing opportunities for arts education and community arts experiences during which people can interact with member artists of the District.
Art lovers from the local community and from abroad all appreciate the city of Naples because of the access to the fine arts. The working studios and art galleries located in the Naples Art District offer visitors opportunities to encounter the world of fine arts and experience art-in-the-making by professional artists. There are many events in the District that contribute to this end, including Art Alive! events that are hosted by the member artists. Start 2022 with the fine arts experience of one of these events in January. Meet the working artists of the District and see live demonstrations of them in creative action. Then take the opportunity to purchase some original artwork directly from those artists. Also, find out more about classes many of the artists will be offering and register to take one (or more) to get in touch with your own inner artist! To participate in Art Alive! in January, visit the District on January 5 from 3pm to 7pm; on January 6 from 1pm to 5pm; or on January 15 from 1pm to 5pm.
The fine arts have become a hallmark of the city of Naples, enriching the city by drawing art aficionados from around the world. The Naples Art District is one of southwest Florida’s newest hubs of fine arts, boasting the largest concentration of working artists in the region.
